Contract manufacturing FAQs

Can APL manufacture a formula developed elsewhere?

Yes. We can review externally developed formulas for manufacturing feasibility, raw-material requirements, process, testing status and commercial scale-up.

Do I need to provide packaging?

Packaging requirements depend on the project. Customers commonly supply packaging, while APL can assist with compatibility considerations and supplier introductions.

Can you help scale a lab formula into production?

Yes. Scale-up planning considers ingredient addition order, mixing, temperature, processing time, filling and quality controls before commercial production.

What information is needed for a manufacturing quote?

Provide the formula status, product format, target quantity, packaging, target market, testing status and expected production timing.

Do you support ongoing production?

Yes. APL supports both specialised projects and repeat manufacturing programs, subject to production planning, raw-material availability and forecast volumes.
